Flix Brewhouse Madison

Was given the runaround of a ticket price. I felted liked they played me. I was not demanding a discount. They did even have to give me a discount. I just didn't like being played. Called in advance about ticket price. Was told it was $12.50. Attendant rang me up for $12.50. I then asked about military discount. Attendant told me she already gave me the discount. She gave me the runaround that it was a senior discount she was giving me.. I asked how could it be a senior discount if you never asked how old I was. She told. me she guessed. She made me feel like a problem. I felt intimidated and threatened of being kicked out of the theater. After buying my ticket, l decided to call Marcus cinema. They confirmed the $1250 price I originally told when I called the Brewhouse theater. They confirmed that the regular adult price was 12.50 and the senior or military price was $10.00.

Brewery in a movie theater is pretty cool. It is not really a lively place I feel like hanging out in but I think that may be because it was slow. Service was okay but not super welcoming. As for the beer, the scotch ale is pretty good, the imperial tastes a little sour to me. They have a lager, Mexican lager, hazy, imperial stout, a Wit, barley wine, mango hazy IPA...They have a solid list of guest taps with several other local breweries as well.

Never been to another theatre that hastles customers for being late. I go to an average of 3 movies per week for many years & I've never been bothered by someone arriving late. If you pay for a ticket it shouldn't matter when you arrive. Went to 3.5 hour movie on Saturday to watch the first 1/2 then when I go to Flix to watch the second 1/2 of the movie Sunday they wont let me into the theatre & I'm turned away due to their B.S. late arrival policy. CHANGE THIS POLICY. About 2 months ago I have another experience. When I arrive I'm told they've suspended ticket sales. I eventually learned the movie is still showing, but I'm not being allowed into the theatre due to staffing issues. Thanks for making me drive 40 minutes one way for nothing. No compromise from know it all managers on duty in either case. Never had issue like this at AMC or Marcus. They have well made good tasting food and a sizable menu selection. Always have good customer service from non-management staff. The movie screens and sound systems are adequate.

I love it here, and annoy my wife because I tell everyone all the time! The ticket prices are good, probably because they know they will make up for it in their food and drink sales. That’s fantastic too though- a full menu, full bar, and pretty decent beers they brew! Very happy that this small national chain has a Madison location, because it makes for an affordable dinner and movie date night that doesn’t go on for hours since it’s all in one location, eating during the show!
